Chungara Website

This time, I will share with you a website where you will find the last publications about Chilean researches in archaeology, biological anthropology and social anthropology. It`s Chungara, a journal depending on Universidad de Tarapacá, specifically of the Anthropology Department.
The website contains current issues that include editorial, obituary, publications and bibliographic review. It contains on the left side a section of early views accepted, back issues, for authors, and how to contact with the journal. At the top you find the home of the site, the editorial board, the section our journal (a short history of the journal) and how you can subscribe to Chungara. There is a section in construction: “online shipping” that will be of a great help.
Also, permanently shown there is an advertising about Universidad de Tarapacá, Museo Arqueológico San Miguel de Azapa and CONICYT.
I visit this site frequently because in this site I can be updated with the knowledge of my discipline at a national level and the authors that publish in Chungara are important national researches.
If you are interested in this information you can visit the site in:

Two of my favorite hobbies…

In my daily life I enjoy some various little pleasures. I like listening to music while walking home, listening to music, watching films and short films, hanging out with my boyfriend and along with him to do different things, especially visiting new places or walking for usual streets in Santiago. We love walking away!

If you ask me what my favorite hobbies are will I say I have two. In the first place, I enjoy cooking and baking for the person I love and with him. For example, baking cookies, baking a cake, baking a pie and making a pizza.

In the second place, I like especially watching and searching independent and forgotten films or old films, searching new music, new songs. But also I like searching old songs and old musicians to share with other persons.

My experience with the earthquake

On the night of february 27 I was deeply sleeping after having arrive from southern Chile 2 days ago of my holidays with my boyfriend. I woke up suddenly, but I didn't know for what exactly... I have never lived the experience of an earthquake, because the last earthquake in Chile was in 1985 and I was born in 1988! Remember I jumped from my bed and I turned on the lights. The movement threw me back to bed. In this moment I woke my brother with a "wake up stupid!!!", because he was still sleep. He got up and embrace with me and the lights go out. The sound was terrible. Later we got together with my parents. Then we tried to call our family. I called my boyfriend but only 2 hours later i could talk to him. I'll never forget that.

However, since I study at the university, in my period of class, I live in Maipú with my aunt. I´m an archaeology´s student of fourth grade in Universidad de Chile. It´s great! Because all my life I dreamed of with a life full of adventures.
